Hello everyone!

If you have come to see me via my old url, craftingcrazy.wordpress.com, then you should know you are in the presence of genius.  No, not me.  My husband.  I am so excited!  In the last 24 hours I successfully claimed a new domain (crafting-crazy.com), set up my new blog with WordPress.org, and got all of the domain stuff switched over.  Now I have to figure out how to get all of my posts (all 20 of them) over here and we’ll be good to go.

Thanks for hanging out with me!  I’m so excited to start this new adventure!

Nat

  1. We have a very similar approach to crafting, in that we kinda admit we are winging a lot of it. I look forward to picking your brain and invite you to come do the same. 🙂

  2. hi nat! looks like your redirect worked just fine! html is old school but good stuff, eh? used the redirect-code when transferring to our new sdaosa domain. =) i was just re-reading an email exchange of ours from a little over a year ago (may 2009). it was about blogging of all things – and that was before i knew you were going to become a blogging fiend! i totally understand the addiction though. i went through a blog craze when i first moved here (about 10 years ago). it was more novelty and practice though (and a way to keep a record of things). my blog was boring though. your blog is awesome!!! i can’t wait to see what other fun things you make – you are so creative!!! so did you see my subtle greeting to you in your google referrer info? some blog friends of mine used to do that for fun when they knew i was checking my web referrer stats obsessively. the referrer info is even more interesting if your friends visit your site when out of the country or from a computer running a less common operating system though. i’m boring though so you get just local info and mac os from me. okay enough of the geeky trip down memory lane. can’t wait to see pics of your next project! i use an RSS reader to keep up with all my fav blogs and i unsubscribe to blogs all the time for nonactivity. but i am definitely keeping your feed on my list of subscriptions!!!

  3. i forgot to tell you that i think your “an adventure in threads” is a clever subtitle since 1) obviously you are documenting some sewing projects but 2) it subtly refers to your adventures in blogging since “threads” are usually what one calls the group of entries in an online forum, a group of entries where there’s a main topic posted and responses to the main topic follow… sort of like each blog entry has a main topic entry where comments or replies can be posted thereafter! or am i just reading too much into that title? 😉

    • D, you crack me up! I hadn’t even thought of the thread part. What I’ve been wondering about lately is whether or not that’s an appropriate subtitle since not all of my projects are going to be thread related. I’m doing lots with paper & Mod Podge, so maybe it should just be “An Adventure in Crafting.” But threads just sounded cooler to me. 🙂

Do you still have any blogs? I would love to read them! Hugs!
