you do NOT need to post a blog entry every day! even bloggers who make money via blogging do not post every day (well the bloggers whose websites that i like to browse, anyway). readers will come and go and those who like your blog will come back even if you don't post every day. who says you have to post every day, anyway? it's not worth having that kind of a goal if it is makes you feel crazy (even though you already are crafting-crazy haha) or takes away time from your little ones (or yourself). oh and don't worry about the makeup. you always look completely put-together in my opinion and, no matter what, you are well-spoken and that counts for a lot more than appearance anyway. just make sure you show your left-side face profile because that's your better side (kidding!!!!). i don't mean to give you a hard time, i can just sense your frustration (from this post) at not being able to work on the blog as much as you'd like and, while i'll admit i'd love to read a new post every day, it's just not realistic or necessary and i'll still read even if you post every once in a blue moon!

Thank you, Heather! My daughter actually destroyed the edge on this very table last night. Time to get out the hot glue and start praying it lasts us!

i'm always scraping the frosting off of cupcakes because i like to eat cupcakes but don't like the traditional too-sweet and from-the-can frostings they are usually topped with. your preservative-free buttercream frosting sounds like a winner to me. will definitely try some time. also love your useful tips for pouring the batter in a way that makes it a lot less messy. my favorite photo though is the finished product with all the mini heart cupcakes frosted and sprinkled and arranged in a circle formation. what group of kids wouldn't be totally excited to see that? beautifully presented and looks DELICIOUS!!!

I can relate to this on so many levels. I am always trying to do more than I should and end up only stressing myself out. But then my real issue is that when I don't have at least 3 or 4 things on my plate, I feel like I need to do more, volunteer somewhere, do something. All this talk about "do nothing" is giving me an idea for a future monthly focus :)

Hi! Wendy here from Chronically Distracted! I'm so glad you decided to join up this week. Yes, the writing prompt was a heavy one for sure! I'm glad you didn't back down from it!!
I 100% agree with you about needing clarity in your own home. Now, I only have one little one. I can't imagine 3! Plus, crafting? And blogging? And working? You sound pretty together, IMO! I look forward to what you are going to share in terms of organization! I'll definitely be back and hope you'll be back at Chronically Distracted next week too!
